La nouvelle Peugeot 301 sera présentée en première mondiale au Mondial de l'Automobile en septembre.
Elle se positionne sur un segment low cost mais pas au point de la Logan de Dacia (Groupe Renault). En effet
si elle répond au critères d'habitabilités aux places arrières et de taille de coffre nécessaire pour séduire sur les marchés émergents la 301 n'est pas juste un véhicule low cost: elle embarque des mécaniques récentes (1.6 VTi de 115 ch et 1.6 HDi de 92 ch des Peugeot "standard", ainsi que le tout
nouveau 3 cylindres à 72 ch) et elle est assez équipé de série (ESP, 4 airbags...) ou en option (kit bluetooth, lecteur MP3...).
Ces éléments semblent la positionner plutôt en concurrente de la Renault Fluence que de la Dacia Logan.
Cette Peugeot sera vendue dans un premier temps en Turquie, puis en Europe Centrale et Orientale, en Russie, en Ukraine,
en Grèce, au Maghreb, au Moyen-Orient, dans les pays du Golfe, en
Afrique et dans certains pays d'Amérique Latine. Peut être la verrons nous ensuite en Europe...
